Santa Testifies Before Congress: Climate Change is Real

In a shrewd effort to secure credibility amongst climate change deniers, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid surprise Senate Republicans by inviting Santa Claus to testify on the subject of climate change. Recognizing that President Obama's warning – that we may be approaching a point of no return – would fall on deaf Republican ears, Pelosi and Reid spearheaded efforts to secure the testimony of "someone Republicans still believe in." While this may be seen as usurping the President's authority on climate change, ultimately, Mr. Claus is closer to the issue (given that he calls the North Pole his home) and is respected by Christians worldwide.
